Job Networking

Networking is a most effective approach to preparing for and finding that next job. We are a self-directed support group intended for those at any stage of their career, whether or not currently employed, who need or want to make a change. We meet every Tuesday at 10am in the lower level conference room (back entrance) of 38 Church Hill Road. Our gathering serves as a base for information, ideas, techniques and leads aimed at helping each other success in his or her job or career transition.

As a small group, we have the advantage of being able to provide individualized attention to one another. We discuss current resources, other job-specific networking groups, trends in hiring in our region and methods used by successful job seekers. Participants are always happy to exchange feedback on resumes, communications, interviewing dynamics as well as widsom and advice about any situation that arises in one's job search.

We typically meet for about one hour or more in a very relaxed, informal, and comfortable setting. No advance registration is necessary and there are no fees. Thos who attend, often comment that just getting out of the house and talking with similarly situated people can invigorate, inform, jump-start or breathe new life into the job search.

Please join us any Tuesday (just walk in - no notice necessary!) and you will find it to be an easy, worthwhile addition to your search effort.
